Software Testing vs Scientific Testing

In Software testing, we perform various actions, observe the behavior and provide feedback to the developers and product managers to finetune the behavior.

In Scientific testing, we perform various actions, observe the behavior, in order to better make sense of the blackbox - the world that we live in.

In Software testing, the objective is to ensure the system behaves as expected.

In Scientific testing, the objective is to increase collective understanding of the blackbox, eventually turning the blackbox into a whitebox, where we have a map of how different natural systems interacts. And how human made systems can coexist with the natural system.
